Yume Nikki Fangame Month was simply an idea I had to take a speed challenge on music making, one ambient song a day with taking heavy inspiration from the soundtrack of Yume Nikki and assorted fangames. The end goal was to have these songs offered up to Yume Nikki fangame makers to use in their games if they so wish. During the challenge I also took requests from fangame makers for certain atmospheres and feels.
However, about halfway through the month my work began to stagger, life began to pile up on me and my creativity was strangled. I did not feel comfortable completing the challenge as I was not comfortable putting out work that I did not put my all into.
Despite that, I offer up everything that I DID complete. I have extremely mixed feelings on the album, but I hope that people get some kind of use out of it.
I apologize for how long it has taken to get this album up, it was supposed to go up at the end of September last year but it did not because of reasons of procrastination and laziness. Again, my bad.
To make clear to fangame makers: Feel free to use any of these tunes, if they don't loop properly let me know and I'll see about making changes. The only thing I ask in return is a space on the credits screen. If you're asking for money for your game, don't use these.
